Registration Ends Tomorrow For National Common Entrance Test 2023

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the closure of registration for the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) for the 4 Year Integrated Teacher Education Program (ITEP) on July 25, 2023. Prospective candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can submit their applications for the examination through the official website, ncet.samarth.ac.in.

NCET 2023: Important details

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to extend the registration deadline for the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) for the 4 Year Integrated Teacher Education Program (ITEP) until July 25, 2023. Previously, the last date for application was July 19, 2023. Applicants will also have the opportunity to make changes to their application forms on July 26 and 27, 2023. The specific dates for the examination, the availability of admit cards, and the result declaration will be communicated later through the NCET portal.

The NCET is a crucial national-level exam conducted by the NTA on behalf of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Clearing the NCET is mandatory for those aspiring to secure admission to the 4 Year Integrated Teacher Education Program (ITEP) in selected Central/State Universities/Institutions, including prestigious institutions like IITs, NITs, RIEs, and Government Colleges for the Academic Session 2023-24.

Age limit

There is no age restriction for candidates who wish to appear in the NCET 2023. Anyone who has cleared the Class 12 or its equivalent examination or is currently in the process of appearing for it in 2023 can participate in the NCET 2023 examination, regardless of their age. However, it is important to note that candidates must meet the specific age requirements (if any) set by the University/Institution/Government College they intend to seek admission to.

Application Fee

Applicants belonging to the unreserved category are obligated to submit an examination fee of Rs 1200, while OBC (NCL)/EWS category candidates are subject to a fee of Rs 1000. For candidates falling under the SC/ST/PwBD/Third gender category, the fee amounts to Rs 650.
