What is Air Pollution? (Air Pollution Essay)
Essay on Air pollution: It takes place in Environment when it gets polluted with any chemical, physical or biological agents.
Air pollution is a global health problem Pollution is a more subtle threat than we tend to think. It’s often thought of as a problem of particulate matter – such as PM2.5s and soot. Many of these emissions are byproducts of normal chemical processes that have happened in the atmosphere. They are produced when the sun shines, or if the wind changes directions. These processes can be triggered by weather or by the presence of people (like industrial emissions or power plants). It is thought that in many places, they play a bigger role in the atmosphere than particulate matter. This means that they can carry more energy, and cause more local and regional harm than particulates alone. These particles are often known as fine particulates and can cause a range of health issues including heart disease, lung cancer, and chronic respiratory diseases. We want to understand what these pollutants do to the atmosphere in different parts of the world and how the responses differ from region to region.
